Artem Usov joined the predecessor of Hellevig, Klein & Usov in 2002 and is presently a general corporate lawyer with specialties in: Taxation, Corporate Governance, Labor, Immigration, Off-shore Company Structures & Incorporations (Russian and abroad). One of Mr Usov’s areas of expertise is helping Fortune 500 companies find the best practice approach to establishing the right corporate structure and the optimal off-shore structures in the applicable situation. In order to serve clients better, Artem keeps abreast of all aspects of the Russian Tax Code and follows closely all amendments and proposed amendments in order to keep clients up to date.

 

Artem is the co-author of the second edition of the 100 plus page  "Avenir Guide to Russian Taxes" (published in 2003). He was the editor of the Russian version of this book on Russian taxation. He is also an author of several legal topic articles. Artem is a graduate from the Russian Tax Academy. Presently he is finishing his Ph.D. with the thesis Major Contract Terms.

 

Artem is fluent in English in addition to his native Russian.
